Herb Day

Saturday, May 4, 2013 - 10:00am to 4:00pm

Free and open to the public.

Come celebrate the 8th annual HerbDay at the American Botanical Council. There will be herbal lectures, herb walks through ABC's 25+ medicinal theme herb gardens, plants and books for sale, and much more. ABC is located on 2.5 acres in the heart of east Austin, Texas at 6200 Manor Road in the historic Case Mill Homestead.

Herbal Walks

  • 10:30 - 11:30 AM with Nicole Telkes, Founder and Director of the Wildflower School of Botanical Medicine
  • 1:15 - 2:15 PM with Carlos Hernandez, Owner and Formulator of Bio-Star Botanicals

Herbal Talks

  • 12:00 - 1:00 PM with Ellen Zimmermann, Founder and Director of the Austin School of Herbal Studies
  • 2:30 - 3:30 PM with Mark Blumenthal, Founder and Executive Director, American Botanical Council

Children's Activities will be held throughout the day and will include a maypole and planting an herb to take home.
