KAB School Garden Workday at Eastside Memorial

Date:
Thu, 03/10/2011 - 4:30pm to 6:15pm
Volunteers needed to spruce up and overhaul Eastside Memorial High School’s courtyard garden. Individual volunteers and small groups welcome. Projects will include building a native plant bed (laying border, transporting soil, and mulching bed) and restoring existing vegetable beds (weeding, soil amendment, and planting seeds). KAB’s Green Teens program will be working with teachers and students to use the garden beds year round as an outdoor learning space – join us to kick start this effort. This project can accommodate up to 25 volunteers.
