Do you have backyard chickens and eggs? Its time to start saving those eggs! The Brazos Valley Poultry Club is pleased to announce the third annual Austin Bluebonnet Egg Show. We'll also be launching the first annual Austin Bluebonnet Egg Drive, in partnership with Keep Austin Fed.

Sunshine Community Gardens is having their annual plant sale.  Fill your spring garden with organic and heirloom vegetable starts and herbs at Sunshine Community Gardens Plant Sale. Choose from over 120 colorful varieties of tomatoes, 64 varieties of peppers, a wide selection of herbs, ornamentals and more. Nourish those babies and the rest of your garden with bag-your-own compost.

This is a wonderful family event including local arts and crafts vendors and live music.

 

SFC Farmer's Market East: New Location Grand Opening

SFC Farmers’ Market East (a project of the Sustainable Food Center), which opened last spring at Ed Bluestein and 51st Street, will be moving March 5th to its new location at MLK and Miriam Street, near the M Station at the MLK, Jr. Capital MetroRail stop. Market times are also changing; we’ll be open from 3pm-7pm every Tuesday!
