4:00 Austin Permie steering committee meeting - join us if you want to help direct Permaculture in Austin.This meeting will be held at Dick and Sandra Pierce's house, at 801 E. 32nd St., Austin. We will meet and firm up plans for 2003. Stay for the party afterwards (see below)


7:00 Potluck Party at Dick Pierce's home
** bring a a dish, musical intrument, such as a drum, bring your friends - come party with the permies. Enjoy food, drink, and bring "a sustainable gift" either homemade or sharing of nature's bounty. Dick and Sandra Pierce's home is at 801 E. 32nd Street, just north of UT, about 100 yards west of Red River on 32nd Street. The house is one story, pink brick with a light roof and a very prominent limestone wall in front. Plenty of parking on side street, across the street. Call 494-0320 if you get lost.

Reminder: There is one more intro to permaculture lecture before Christmas on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2002, 7:30 to 9:00 at Habitat Suites. Be sure to tell your friends and promote this.**

10am. Build Oasis Gardens CSA farm herb spiral. There will also be a course in plant propagation and folks will get to take home cuttings from different kinds of herbs that are growing at the farm. Directions to the farm are available at http://www.greenbuilder.com/oasisgardenscsa. Everyone is welcome. There is no charge for this event. If you are interested in learning more about permaculture, please join us.
