Screening of “Where Soldiers Come From”

From a small town in Northern Michigan to the mountains of Afghanistan and back, “Where Soldiers Come From” follows the four-year journey of childhood friends, forever changed by war. Under the Hood Café & Outreach Center http://www.underthehoodcafe.org/ is sponsoring the screening and discussion after the film with director Heather Courtney. Representatives from Under the Hood will answer questions about Operation Recovery, a campaign to halt the deployment of traumatized troops.

Tickets are $9, with a portion of proceeds going to Under the Hood. Tickets must be purchased in advance, and at least 50 tickets must be sold for the event to take place. Credit cards will only be charged if enough tickets are sold. To buy tickets, go to http://tugg.com/events/show/416.
