Panel on men in African American community

 

In response to Michelle Alexander’s book The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness, this panel will focus on the absence of males in the African American community, the effect on families, and possible responses.

 

The panel will include Pastor A.W. Anthony Mays, Professor Asante Todd, Judge Cliff Brown, Minister Dewey Allen, and NAACP President Nelson Linder.
