Come enjoy the City's 6th Green Garden Festival, Saturday, February 27, 2011 from 12pm – 4pm at Zilker Botanical Garden, featuring presentations, information, and fun activities for eco-friendly gardening! Hear a talk by John Dromgoole (Austin’s Natural Gardener), visit the very popular Kids’ Corner, see demonstrations on how to compost, build a rain barrel or a rain garden, learn about rebates, fertilizer/pest control tips, Austin-friendly plants, plus information from numerous other area gardening groups and so much more. Parking: Across the street from the Zilker Botanical Garden entrance at 2220 Barton Springs Road on the Zilker Polo Field. Handicapped and bike parking in the garden parking lot. Prizes awarded to those walking, biking or using other alternative transportation!
