It's getting to be that time of the year again when the permablitzes (our perennial food garden installations) begin. I'm really excited about our first blitz of the season being at Coyote Creek Farm where I have had the honor of helping to build two of the barns that house the hammer mill and pellet mil, a cow barn, and a couple of the houses used by staff.
This permablitz is also going to be our largest permablitz to date with the earthworks being done by Ken Tuck and his equipment operators Joe and Jessy. The equipment is scheduled to arrive next week at the farm.
Please contact Taelor Monroe, Linda Colona or myself if you are interested in attending. It will be a two day event, Saturday AND Sunday of this September 13th and 14th. We do ask that folks donate up to $20 if they can to help us cover the costs of food, and plants, and cover crops, and mulch, and soil amendments for all of the upcoming blitzes this year and next year.
I sure look forward to the permablitz season starting up again and hope to see y'all there. Explosive abundance!
