Austin Networking Event with Mandela Washington Fellows

Sunday, July 26, 2015 - 4:00pm to 7:00pm

Please come and network with a group of 25 Mandela Washington Fellows who are a part of President Obama’s flagship Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) program. The emerging leaders hail from 49 countries across sub-Saharan Africa and have shown a commitment to improving their home countries and to establishing strong ties between Africa and the United States. The goal of the program is to empower the next generation of leaders with skills and knowledge to strengthen democracy, spur economic growth, and enhance peace and security across Africa.

The University of Texas at Austin is a host institution for the inaugural Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders and AFTV5 is thrilled to host a networking event on Sunday July 26th 2015 so that the Fellows can get the opportunity to meet other professionals in the Austin Community and create international professional relationships. Please join us for an evening of cultural networking.

Come and socialize with young Africans who are poised to make their mark with extraordinary ideas impacting global change. Please RSVP online
