Sun, 12/15/2013 - 9:00am to 5:00pm

Please come out to actively learn how to build a perennial food garden. Many studies have found that the best way to learn is by doing. You along with many other members of the Central Texas community will be building this system together. It will be a living example for future residents and visitors alike of the permaculture community Quilombo Paixao. Let's do this!

The schedule of this blitz is generally as follows:

Please come out to actively learn how to build a perennial food garden. Many studies have found that the best way to learn is by doing. You along with many other members of the Central Texas community will be building this system together for benefit of all parties involved, including of course Mobile Loaves and fishes. This perennial food garden will be a living permaculture example for many people to come living in this homeless community that was built from the ground up.

Yesterday morning was the Drip Irrigation Demonstration at Linda and Kurtis Colonna's lovely home in Manchaca. The plan was to install two irrigation systems, one at what I am calling the "Tropical Hook," and the other at the swale and berm they built at the corner of the yard where the driveway meets the street, which I'm calling the "Angle Berm".
