The Wildflower Center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Winter Tree Fest activities are all free with admission.

Nature & Tree Walk with Renee Studebaker

Join educator/journalist Renee Studebaker for an hour-long ramble through the backwoods of Mayfield Park, and learn about some of the wonders of the trees, plants and animals, and play some 'Call my Bluff' games too. This event is being presented and hosted by the local folk group Bucolics Anonymous. Expect a poem and some music from Thom the World Poet and Darrel Mayers, Please join us! Free. (Donations accepted.) We will meet in the car park area from 9:45 a.m. onwards.


Clean Sweep

Join over 4,000 volunteers for the Keep Austin Beautiful 2016 Clean Sweep, the largest annual city-wide service day spanning 130+sites throughout the greater Austin area. The network of cleanups is followed by a not-to-be-missed volunteer party featuring free t-shirts, lunch, live music, children’s environmental activities, recycled art, a unique object contest, door prizes, and more! Cleanups from 9:00am-11:00am, party from 11:00am-1:30pm. Clean Sweep is presented by Samsung.
