The first annual Austin Refugee Day Festival is a city-wide event hosted by local agencies who serve refugee and migrant families.

This free event is open to the public and will be a fun park day for the community! It will include 5-on-5 soccer matches, kids’ activities including a Velcro wall, inflatable bounce houses, multi-lingual cartoons, face painting, outdoor games, information and resource booths, as well as a variety of food vendors on site!

This week’s featured events are yoga in the galleries, a Beat the Rush performance of string trio and electronics by Justin Sherburn, film conversation on the upcoming documentary, 'Canine Soldiers,' and Art Gazes, a special, slow looking tour. Enjoy an extended happy hour in the Blanton Café, featuring a glass of wine and a slice of gourmet pizza for just $5.
