FARE Walk for Food Allergy in Austin Texas

The FARE for Food Allergy is coming to Austin on November 1, 2014. Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE) works on behalf of the 15 million Americans with Food allergies, including all those at risk for anaphylaxis. With 15 million Americans affected, there are 15 million reasons to walk! FARE’s mission is to find a cure for food allergies, and to keep individuals with food allergies safe and included. This family-friendly event, presented by Mylan, seeks to raise funds and awareness for food allergy research, education, advocacy and awareness.


Ney Day

Advanced Screening of Farm-City, State

Join Edible Austin and The Blanton Museum of Art as we celebrate the 7th Annual Eat Drink Local Week with an advanced screening of Farm-City, State presented by Wheatsville Food Co-op. After the film enjoy a Q&A with the film's producer and director David Barrow and some additional special guests. This event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited so RSVPs are required. All attendees will also recieve a free pass to come back and explore the Museum and all of its collection of over 17,000 works of art.
