Signing Santa Comes to Town - a Special Visit for Children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

Date:

Wed, 12/11/2019 - 4:00pm to 8:30pm

Signing Santa is a tradition that began in 2004 by the North Austin Optimist Club, and continues thanks to the kindness of Simon Management at Barton Creek Square and Michael Barker Photography.

On this one night each year, children who communicate in sign language, wait for their turn on his lap and the opportunity to relay their wish lists directly to Santa – who is deaf like them.

Every child or family takes home a free photo and a small treat from his workshop, while enjoying holiday music with students from Texas School for the Deaf's Sign Choir.
