Join TreeFolks and your neighbors in making our community cooler and more beautiful by coming out for the Shade Brigade training session! As part of the Shade the Streets initiative, we're working to combat summer heat, expand neighborhood tree canopy, and help local residents receive free native trees to plant near the street. Whether you’ve volunteered with us for years or are completely new and eager to get involved, we would love to have you on the team! We’ll gather at 6:00 PM on Thursday, September 3 at the Windsor Park Library for a quick one-hour session to hand out all the necessary maps, paperwork, and details to get started. Returning volunteers, please remember to wear or bring your Shade Brigade shirts so we can capture a quick group photo—we can't wait to see both familiar faces and new friends there!
